How Renuvion JPlasma Works
This minimally-invasive procedure provides an excellent and much more effective alternative to other skin tightening treatments for the face, chin, neck, abdomen, arms and most other parts of the body. It replaces a facelift for many patients.
Used subdermally (under the skin), Renuvion powered by JPlasma® is a pure tightening agent. Helium gas, coupled with electrical energy, is applied, allowing for very controlled delivery of “cool plasma”. This DUAL THERMAL EFFECT™ uses a gentle waveform to convert helium, an inert gas, into a cold atmospheric plasma. Helium is used because it can be converted to plasma with very little energy. The result is energy that’s unique in its ability to provide tissue heating and cooling almost simultaneously, therefore producing a great tightening treatment without damaging the tissue unnecessarily. Renuvion J Plasma® is an advanced energy device that combines cold helium plasma with RF energy. What can I expect after my Renuvion Skin Tightening Treatment?
For lower face and neck you will need to wear a compression garment for 3 days (24 hours each day) and for 6 weeks when you are at home or as much as possible. You will have some swelling and tenderness for several weeks and patients usually start to see results around 3 weeks. Your results will continue to improve for several months.
For skin tightening on the body, you will need to wear a compression garment for 4-6 weeks and you can experience swelling and tenderness for several weeks to months. Patients usually look great in clothing even the next day.
Final results take about 3 months and can continue to improve even through month 6.
